Modest and neutral Yet Cosy and Inviting NY Apartment

Modest and neutral, but comfortable and welcoming, this space is a welcome departure from your classic rental apartment. The entire project is pared back, but it does not skimp on either the characters or individuality through a variety of cohesion pieces. A combination of a soft monochromatic palette, repurposed items (low stools fashioned from old cable reels), with wooden and metal accents inject a simple and warm elegance to the space. The work of art (black and white prints, ceramic white and gold, and the large wooden frame hand) are all custom creations by New design project. The wrinkled linen sofa cover is handmade by Bemz, while a number of other pieces were from the street
